- 22 MAI 2009 - "ZIUA BIODIVERSITĂŢII" - CONCURS DE MINI-GRĂDINI JAPONEZE

The event ”Different Minds - Equal Chances for the Friendship between Japan and Romania”- “The
Beauty of the Japanese Gardens seen with the Eyes of a Romanian Child” was held on May on May
22-nd at the Commercial High School “Nicolae Kretzulescu” in Bucharest and its goals are :

- Promoting the friendship and exchanging education, values, culture, mentality between Japan and Romania on the occasion of “Japan-Danube Friendship Year 2009”.

- Promoting Environmental Education by active envolving in the project “The Beauty of the Japanese Gardens seen with the Eyes of a Romanian Child” (Small Japanese Gardens Contest among pupils of the 11^th grade from The Commercial High School “Nicolae Kretzulescu” in Bucharest).

The final purpose of this event was to create a partnership with the Embassy of Japan in Bucharest and with the Bucharest Japanese Language School in order to set up a Center for Promoting Japanese – Romanian Educational Values at the Commercial High School ”Nicolae Kretzulescu” in Bucharest.
